2025 Harvest Internship – Duck Pond Cellars

Location: Dundee, Oregon

Duck Pond Cellars has been part of the Willamette Valley wine tradition for 30 years, and we're gearing up for an exciting 2025 harvest. Interns will gain hands-on experience in all aspects of winemaking—from sampling grapes in the vineyard to operating equipment and monitoring ferments in the cellar.

We produce around 100,000 cases annually, processing 2,000 tons of fruit, and offer both small-lot DTC and large-scale wholesale experiences. Whether you're into science, machinery, or just want to crush grapes while blasting Queen, there's a spot for you on our team.

What You'll Do:

  • Learn the full winemaking process
  • Work long, rewarding days
  • Do punchdowns to the Grease soundtrack (and Prince or Queen!)
  • Process fruit, dig out tanks, clean everything
  • Eat meals provided by Duck Pond
  • Optional: Camp in your van near the vineyard

What You'll Need:

  • Ability to work flexible, long hours (up to 72 hrs/week during peak)
  • Reliable transportation
  • Attention to detail and respect for safety
  • A good attitude and sense of humor

Details:

  • Pay: $18–$20/hour (DOE)
  • Schedule: Early August through October 31
  • Shifts: Day & Swing
