Duck Pond Cellars is an iconic winery with over 30 years of history, deeply rooted in the heart of Oregon’s Willamette Valley. Since opening our doors in 1993 in historic Dundee, we’ve made it our mission to provide a welcoming gathering place for both locals and visitors. The Willamette Valley is the heart and soul of what we do, influencing every aspect of our winemaking. Our award-winning winemaker, Julia Cattrall, ensures that no detail is too small. Each bottle is crafted with minimal intervention, delivering handcrafted consistency year after year.

Deep History of Winemaking
As part of the fifth generation on her family’s century farm, Julia has deep roots in the Willamette Valley wine industry. Her work in viticulture began at the tender age of seven, learning organic viticulture from her father at the Cattrall Vineyard in the Eola-Amity Hills.
Julia Began Crafting
wines with a mission to preserve and uphold the beauty and legacy of Oregon’s esteemed wines. Julia earned her degree in Anthropology from Reed College with a thesis on viticultural practices in Burgundy. Drawing on a career-long emphasis on sustainable and artisan winemaking practices, Julia now leads our winemaking team crafting award-winning wines for our beautiful portfolio of Oregon wines.
