Description

Newly released in 2021, Ransom Bourbon is distilled in Oregon and Indiana and aged a minimum of two years in charred American oak — including 12-year-old barrels drawn from our French alembic pot stills. It is bourbon made the Ransom way: grain, barrel, and time, with nothing to hide.

The mash is a distinctive four-grain build — 66% corn, 23% rye, 6% wheat, and 4% malted barley grown on our organic farm.

Classic bourbon aromas of toffee and soft caramel mixed with sweet corn
Rich, warm flavors balancing soft oak and cereal grain with hints of cocoa powder and anise, and a deep honeyed mouthfeel
A long, spicy rye warmth on the finish, with orange zest giving way to a final touch of malt
