2018 GOWC Willamette Valley Pinot Noir

Vibrant color and pretty in the glass. Bright and floral on the nose with dark cherry and blackberry, followed by delicate aromas of forest floor and baking spice from time in oak. Graphite, leather, cedar and vanilla add to the complexity of flavors. The palate is clean and pure. A pleasant grip of tannin combines with the bright acidity for a nice structure to accompany the fruit depth. The oak influence is primary at this point but will integrate nicely with time.
